Global Warming : Threat to humanity

Global warming is a huge problem for human on earth. We, human have been causing this catastrophe for about a century. Burning fossil fuels, deforesting are the two main human made causes that boosted up global warming at an alarming rate. As a result the earths temperature is rising, icebergs in polar regions are melting. Those caused our climate to turn into a more aggressive form that we ever witness. Rainfall has decreased, cyclones, typhoons has become more destructive in recent years. See level is rising, a large number of people living in coastal areas in different part of the earth are about to lose their home. Green house gases not just increased atmospheric temperature, it also destroyed the Ozone layer. Ozone layer is that part of atmosphere which prevents most of the Ultra Violet rays from our sun and also some other cosmic rays from reaching the earth surface. As ozone layer is compromised more UV is reaching earth surface and causing noticeable harm in animals and plants.

Python : The programming language

Python is a powerful programming language. It's been around for some time, but in the last 10 years, Python has grown to be one of the most popular programming languages available. And Python is used for a lot of things, including rapid application development, as well as scripting. Python Syntax is simple and easy to learn, and it emphasizes readability, which reduces the cost of program maintenance. Python can be used to process text, display numbers or images, save data, make calculations and predictions, and solve problems. Also, Python is used behind the scenes in the processes that allow you to see what you see on your devices. Programmers who love Python are drawn to Python's productivity. Python's implementation allows for programmers to test and debug efficiently. The popularity of Python has grown exponentially and continues to grow. Many web applications and platforms use Python, including Google's search engine, YouTube, the New York Stock Exchange, and even

What is a function in Programming?

A programmer's main goal is not just to solve problems through coding but to do so efficiently. When you're programming, you may find yourself typing the same set of instructions in multiple places in your program. When you do this, it not only takes longer for you to write and read your code, but also takes longer for your computer to read and follow your instructions. That's why it's important to be concise. One major way to be concise is to use functions. Functions help you stay organized and each function has a fixed purpose. In other words, each function is meant to perform a particular procedure and you can write a set of instructions needed to perform a procedure and store in a function. So whenever you want to use this procedure in your program, all you have to do is refer to the function you wrote. And that's it. Now you know what functions are and why they're used in programming.

Electricity : We use it everyday, But what is it?

Have you ever wonder how does your phone or computer work actually? What is the fuel here that runs machines like your computer, your TV, the light bulbs or your hair trimmer? That fuel is electricity. Of course you heard about it. But you may not actually know all about it. One of the fundamental characteristics of atoms is electric charge. Each atom in our known universe posses two different and opposite types of electric charges; the negative one and the positive one. Electrons in atom are negatively charged and Protons are positively charged. Electricity is the continuous flow of negative charge or electron in a definite direction for a specific period of time. Or it can also be defined as the flow of positive charge in the exact opposite direction for that specific period of time. But here is an interesting fact, flow of negative charge is the flow of electron. But flow of positive charge is not the flow of proton !

Black Hole : A mystery in the Universe

Black Hole : A mystery in the Universe Our universe is enormous. There are so many mysterious objects and events in here. Human could not even understand or explain a tiny part of these mysteries. Black Holes are one of those super singularities that covers themselves in eternal darkness. Now you might wonder what a Black Hole is. Black Hole is a giant dead star with a huge mass, extremely low temperature and tremendous gravity. An average black hole has a mass equivalent to few millions suns. Its temperature is almost zero. And how strong is its gravity? Well, the gravitational pull is strong enough to hold light within its event horizon. The fastest thing in the universe is light, unfortunately the escape velocity of a black hole due to its gravity is larger in number than the speed of light! That's why no light comes out of black hole. No light means darkness. Thus it was named in that way, a Black Hole.
